somehow (don't ask me how I have zero clue) my IE icon changed from the E kind of thing to one showing ADOBE. Go figure. This isn't a shortcut but the actual IE icon so right click only gets you into the properties of IE. Any ideas what happened and more importantly how to fix it?

Hi ijusth

Does your IE icon open Internet Explorer or Adobe?

What operating system are you running?

Let us know.

Open My Computer or Windows Explorer and click on
Tools > Folder Options > File types tab,

Scroll down to the
.htm
.html
file extensions, click on one at a time and select Advanced.

The Edit File Type window will open, at the top there should be a button to change the icon.

After checking those two file extensions scroll through the file types window to see if there are any more Adobe icons where Internet Explorer icons should be.

Let us know if this works for you or not.
