Has anyone else had good/bad experiences, any comments, pros/cons of any of these tools?CacheSentry and CacheMonitor are useful for deleting "stray" files, keeping index.dat honest, and monitoring the contents of the cache:

Spider ( http://www.fsm.nl/ward/ ) will help with management of the index.dat files. But be very selective which you delete. Most are rebuilt by Windows, but deleting the index.dat in C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\OfflineCache\, for example, is permanent and causes the loss of the ability to run System Information without a tweak.
Other useful tools (free):
Internet Cache Explorer

STG Cache Audit

IE Cache Cleaner
