Everytime I type friendster.com or going to the General Chat of a band forum, why does Mozilla and IE always send me back to the desktop? It keeps on closing automatically if I click those websites.

And also, I cannot access google.com, yahoo.com, MIRC, and yahoo Messenger. The icons also did the same as the browsers. MIRC Chatroom automatically closes everytime I clicked it. While the yahoo messenger icon is nowhere to be found. But when I clicked on the Start Menu of yahoo messenger, IT DIDN'T APPEAR.

And there's a program that isn't part of the PC. It says, "ms_access" and inside it, contains: "Help" and "IM_LOCK" Program.

I think IM_LOCK Program has something to do with my browsers, MIRC/Yahoo messenger that sends me back to the desktop when it closes.

Is this another Virus? Please Help.

No one will help me? I'm sure some of you had this kind of problem before. Please answer. I tried everything from avast to killbox. Nothing works? I tried re-installing. No help at all.

    Hi, Welcome to TSG!!

    Save HJTsetup.exe to your desktop.

Double click on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Addition Tasks dialogue.
Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialogue box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

    O2 - BHO: ohb Class - {5ED7D3DE-6DBE-4516-8712-01B1B64B7057} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\SearchTool\nsqA.dll
    O2 - BHO: ohb Class - {5ED7D3DE-6DBE-4516-8712-436325722327} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\SmartShopper\SmartShopper0.dll

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system.
Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update.

    Updating Java:
    • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u1.
    • Scroll down to where it says "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u1 allows end-users to run Java applications".
    • Click the "Download" button to the right.
    • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
    • The page will refresh.
    • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
    • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
    • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
    • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
    • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
    • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
    • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
    • Then from your desktop double-click on the download to install the newest version.
