IE Not working , Possible Hijack

Hi , my internet explorer will not open up it is saying page cannot be displayed, also my java is saying jre is not a valid system32 file. i have foxfire running fine, but if anything requires IE its damaged.. like yahoo messegner 8.1. please help me ... also this all started one day my computer shut down by its self while i was browing internet. (not sure what) and then when i tried to start it back up a lot of my drivers had to be reinstalled please please help! i been trying to work on it for days ! im so frustrated
