When I open IE i get the error msg "page cannot be displayed" but can connect thru the My Computer icon to the internet??? Does this indicated a IE corruption or would it more likely be a Spy Ware type issue?
Thanks in advance for the help.

What version of Windows are you running? :)

And how do you normally connect to the internet? Dial-up? DSL? Cable?

    Win XP
Connected directly to a cable modem with ethernet
I've disabled my Firewalls and AV software.
Deleted Temp Files/Cookies set Security to low on all
Even tried booting into Safe Mode with Networking and IE still won't connect

what do you mean you can connect with the my computer icon. Download mozilla firebird as a web browser, and end to all of your future and present internet woes will soon follow.
