I am running IE6 and XP Pro. Before this, all my IE instances were linesd up side by side along the lower tool bar along with other active programs. Now I just see one IE box and I need to click there, then select the particular IE session I want.

This adds an extra click and negates, among other things, the use of the alt-Tab combinatioin for switching from app to app.

I want to go back to the old way!

They are probably hidden. I think if you right click on the toolbar you should get a box open up and there should be a place where you can remove the tick from hide icons, or something to that effect.

Sorry I can't be more specific. I have XP at work but not at home which is where I am now and I can't remember the exact process.
