I know this is possible but somehow it's been disabled on my Internet Explorer. When u click a link, how do you make it so that the link u clicked on, changes color. Like when u search on google and click a specific link after the search i would want the link to change color like red so that i know i previously went to it. Hope that makes sense. Thanks

open IE/tools/options/general/ press colors and see which sticky finger shave been playing with the settings

if taht doesn't cure it then open IE/tools/options/general/accessability/ untick everything that is ticked especially use a stylesheet

if stylesheet is ticked then post a hijackthis log as it's a known symptom of a serious browser hijack
go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or

even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

Thanks for the response dvk01. See the problem is when i click a link it DOES turn to the color that i set it to. But when i click "Back" on my browser, it doesn't stay in that color. It goes back to being blue. I dont think you will find much trouble in my log. But here it is anyways.

    LOg is OK

the only other thing that can cause this strange behaviour if is you have set your history to 0

tools/option/general/little box that says days to keep pages in history, if it is set to 0, it doesn't keep any history and consequently no clicked links are remembered

Let's move you to web and email.

I see you had an older thread already here, so I've merged them. In the future, please post back to your original thread if it's dealing with the same problem.
