Explorer keeps defaulting to a bunch of tool bars I don't want. They are "POP", "Search", "Intelligent Toolbar", etc. All I want is the standard buttons, the address bar and Google. How do I get rid of them? Every time I restart IE, all of them are there, no matter what I do. Thanks, John.

First, even though it IS common sense. Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and look for those toolbar names. Then download Hijack This then save its log and show it to this forum, they should help. Then download Ad-Aware 6. Run Ad-Aware 6 and scan everything by following the menus. After you run Ad-Aware they SHOULD be gone. Well, I tried.

Adaware is a good idea.as is Spybot http://beam.to/spybotsd
but lets take a look at your HijackThis logfile before you run anything else.
