I made the change below to my system. Since I made this change I have not been able to install the updates for IE. Could this be the problem?

    In the mean-time, I have found a partial work-around:
    1) Go to you registry
    2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr
    entVersion\Internet Settings\Cache
    3) Change persistent from 1 to 0.
    4) Clean your history and temporary internet-files using Internet Explorer/View/Options etc.

    Thanks.

    Hi Tony,

As always great advice - I worked through all the solutions and the update is now down loaded and installed.

    Thanks for the help.
