I would like to clear the password file that IE6 creates when using the auto-complete feature. Unfortunately using the clear passwords and clear history buttons do not work. They both cause IE to become unresponsive.

The only other way I can see to start fresh is to rename the files in which those passwords are kept, so that IE must create new ones.

Can anyone tell me the appropriate files to rename in order to erase all of my saved passwords from prevciously visited web pages?

    Thanks! :D

Search the hard drive for *.pws
Those are the password list files.
