IE6 gives only a white page and Done

My PC has Windows 98SE with IE6.
When accessing a certain website that I used to be able to access just fine, I immediately get a white page and no further action. Happens repeatedly. Reboot doesn't help. Others on a message board confirm the site is up and working fine for them.
What could be happening???

The fixes on this page have worked for me on several computers with the "blank IE window" problem.
