When going to a new page on the Internet, images on each page are not appearing (small "x" in image box) until switching the encoding settings for that page to a different choice (e.g. European ISO, European Windows, etc...). Once they are changed on that page, they appear fine, but the next page visited appears with all images missing again and you have to change the encoding again.

I've tried the solutions shown in the Microsoft KB (http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...7&Product=ie600) regarding this problem, but nothing there seems to do the trick.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks

What kind of connection do you have? I noticed when I was on 56K that same thing when I was downloading stuff, the most of the pictures did not show. I had to manually refresh the picture

Its a cable connection, but I'm sure that doesn't have anything to do with it.
