A while ago I tried IE7. It was so bad that I switched to using Firefox. I sometimes use IE6. That was a while ago. Can anyone tell me if IE7 has improved over time? Is it worth another try? I seem to remember that it was a pain to un-install IE7 so I'd like to be careful about another trial.

Just as a matter of curosity, what was so bad about it?? . . I have installed it on over 200 client pc's with no adverse effects.

    a. It crashed frequently

    b. The displays (I have two monitors connected) would frequently shudder, stutter, and freeze while attempting to either start or shut down IE7.

I have had no problems with Firefox, except for an occasional site that uses some code that prevents Firefox from being completely functional on that site. On those sites I use IE6.

Sounds like a conflict with the video drivers . . did you ever try updating them?
