If I get a sata2 hard drive for enterprise storage, will it fit in my machine

    Its for 45 dollars. I'm concerned that the price is so low there may be a catch, like it may not work in my system.

    Here is what it says

    WESTERN DIGITAL - CAVIAR RE2 400GB 7200 RPM SATA 7PIN HARD DISK DRIVE FOR ENTERPRISE STORAGE. 16MB BUFFER 3.5INCH

    Well, 400GB means its got some age on it and it would seem that for that price it must be either used or refurbished. It would be nice to see the powered on hours reading before you buy.

    If its advertised as new and its a trustworthy vender, then it is a great deal.
