Well here it goes. When I first bought my computer it had Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. My motherboard is a M2N-E SLI. My computer constantly crashed with the blue screen. I had someone fix my computer and he told be that there was no chipsets for this motherboard that worked with Vista (this is about a year ago when I had it fixed). So he installed Windows XP 32 bit and I never had a problem. But now I want to run more then 4GB of memory and I like Vista because it is more user friendly for people like me who dont know much about computers. So if I reinstall Vista on my computer and put these chipset updates that I found here in the forums will they work and keep my computer from crashing? Also is it just download the updates or is there more to it for chipsets? One more question is the back up disk that I have for Windows Vista the actual program and I can just install it or do I have to buy a copy of Vista to install it. Any help is much appreciated.
