I was given the task of converting Corel files to Word. The file was a Corel table with formulas that used the =(if<expression>, True, False). What I have found for Word refers to using if statements with merge statements. Everyone I have asked said you can't in Word but must import an Excel table with the formulas. If so what is the Table, Formula used for? Is it really that difficult in Word?

TIA

My understanding of that feature was more for looks such as problems for statistics and are not working formulas just glorified fonts.
