Im running a win2k server with some win98 clients, sharing the internet connection through nat. Due to lack of harddisk space on the server I want to use one of the win98 clients to store the webfolder and files, but there seems to be some problems with this...

What happens it that users often get the logon dialog box when trying to open files, but it will not accept any connections from any accounts. The problem usualy goes away if you wait while, but always comes back every now and then. It seems to happend more often when trying to access the same file twice in a short period of time.

Anybody know if there are any reasons this wouldnt work? I read something about a similar problem @ microsoft when permissions where not sufficient, but the share is set up with user level security alowing all users full access....
