I am pretty new to networking and trying to implament a couple things. One of them is that i'm trying to setup an ftp server so I can access my network remotely, and transfer files to and from eachother. Can someone walk me through setting up an ftp server in IIS? I tried doing it myself, but all i get when i try putting in the IP address and logon credentials is that I either don't have access, or it is not a valid IP. I know my IP is correct, and I have administrator priveledges, so neither of those should actually be the problem.

If you are gettign a login prompt your IP address is correct. You need to set up a folder on the server with the username of whomever is logging in and set the correct permissions for FTP'ing to that folder.
