    2 days ago I d/l & installed Mozilla Firefox 1.5. I am a "Beginner."

Many times when I go to a site now I get the following little box saying"Illegal Operation In Plug-In. Shockwave Flash. The plug-in performed an illegal operation. You are strongly advised to restart Firefox."

Can someone advize me on how to correct this (In English).

Augie65.....I went to the site you suggested and printed out the four pages.

I then went to the part telling how to uninstall Flash. While I did not understand any of it I followed the instructions and eventually a little box came up telling me that the Adobe Flash Player has been successfully uninstalled.

To make sure it was removed from all locations I then went to the 4 files listed and was able to Delete it from 2 of them. A 3rd file had No Results To Display and the 4th file said that I could not delete file, cna not read from the source file or disk.

I hope this solves my problem and I thank you sincerely for your help.(y)

Well to view the flash things you are going to need the update, Since I do not know how you got the update and I was thinking it might have been thru Firefox so I am suggesting to download thru the regular downloads. If you get an error message write it down and post back and this way we might be able to help you. You are not going to get it fixed if you do not try to install it.
