I just installed Norton Systemworks Pro 2003 and before i downloaded LiveUpdate my scanner worked just fine. When i downloaded LiveUpdate i get an illegal operation VS16.DLL or blue screen. I noticed during LiveUpdate Common Driver: SymEvent being downloaded. I have been searching the net and it seems that there is a driver conflict, but i don't know what to do. Does anyone have an answer for this problem? Thanks...

You'll probably have to rename one of the drivers. Have you tired to reinstall the scanner, sometimes that's all it needs. I would go to either the scanners web site, or Nortons web site and contact their support dept.. They would know what to name it as. It's usually pretty easy to fix something like this.

How do you go about renaming one of the drivers? I tried the scanner thing, it didn't work.
