In Hijack This, check ALL of the following items. Double check so as to be sure not to miss a single one.
Next, close all browser Windows, and have HT fix all checked.

Next reboot into Safe Mode and remove the following files and folders that are bolded

    C:\WINDOWS\OO4.DLL
    C:\WINDOWS\BI.DLL
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\STLBDIST.DLL
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\OIFJIL400.DLL
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\BTIEIN.DLL

See here http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406 for how to start in safe mode if you don't know how.

    Reboot into normal mode

Now download Spybot - Search & Destroy (if you haven't got the program installed already)

After installing, first press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.

Next, close all Internet Explorer windows, hit 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove/fix all it finds that are in RED

    Reboot

Last, run HJT again and post your log again to see if anything was missed.

    Thanks

Are you running BOTH AVG6 and AVAST! antivirus programs?
This is usually advised against. Some tend to think it gives them double protection. This is often NOT the case. Best case, one can get confused by scanning the other’s virus definition files and produce a false positive. Worst case, what a virus does hit, they conflict with each other and both miss it. (Think of a kids Little League game where two kids are yelling ..I got it, I got it…and at the last second nobody gets it.)

IF you want a second check against your onboard AV program you can go to either of these free online virus scan sites. They are updated daily.

Panda Active Scan is an online free virus checker

Trend Micro Housecall is an online free virus checker

Your gonna have to decide which A/V you like the best and un-install the other one.
Two dont work as well as one!

Run hijackthis again and put a checkmark against these entries....double check
    in case you miss anything....
.....then,close all browser and outlook windows and "fix checked"

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IST Service] C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [oo4] RunDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\OO4.DLL,DllRun

Where has this one come from all of a sudden?
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BELT] C:\WINDOWS\BELT.exe
If you dont know it as legit have H/T "fix" it.

Re-boot (did you boot into safe mode the 1st time or not?)
    and delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\OO4.DLL
    C:\Program Files\ISTsvc [ENTIRE FOLDER]

If you dont know this one can you send a zipped copy to me
    here [email protected] for analysis.
    C:\WINDOWS\BELT.exe

    To delete these....
You may need to enable "show hidden files and folders"
To do this hit "my computer"/on the "tools" tab select "folder options" and "view"
and check the "show hidden files and folders" box.

Post back and let us know how it went.

    ;)

I may be wrong on this but I seem to remember Tony Klein pointing out to me that a .dll will be gone once HJT has fixed the entry, so it's irrelevant trying to find it to delete. As for the others; C:\WINDOWS\BELT.exe and C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe ... well, I can't see why they should be appearing after reboot.
BELT.exe didn't google any info, but you can check istsvc.exe at the following site:
    www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.istsvc.html
