I received the following error message.
Cmd agent application e is not working properly.
Would you like to send this report to MS.
Have no idea what this is.
I brought up task mgr. and it's not in processes or any where else.
I have never downloaded Comodo firewall.
I did use the free version of AVG at one time.
Thank You

Please click HERE to download and install HijackThis.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile from the Main Menu.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

IMPORTANT: Do not fix anything

===================================================================

Run HijackThis again.

Click on Open The Misc Tools section.

Click on Open Uninstall Manager...

Click on Save list...

Save the text file to the desktop.

Copy and paste the log (from Notepad) in your next post.

What was the exact text of the error?

The next time you see it, choose to see more details and post anything you think may be helpful in identifying the app.

When do you see the message?

What made you think it had something to do with Comodo?

The next time you see the error, besides recording the exact text of it, open Task Manager and look under the Applications tab. If you see the error box listed, right-click and choose "Go To Process". What process does it go to?

We need the exact text. Unless you have a non-English version of Windows, there are no error messages that use the syntax that you have posted.

When I put cmd into the search Comodo came up.
Will follow your instructions next time this error appears.
Thank you again

One thing's for sure. You don't have any sign of Comodo in your log.

The only Agent I can see though is related to your AVG Identity Protection:

Service:

O23 - Service: AVGIDSAgent - AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o. - C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\Identity Protection\Agent\Bin\AVGIDSAgent.exe

Process generated:

C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\Identity Protection\Agent\Bin\AVGIDSAgent.exe

And,

Secunia Update Agent and PSI Agent services:

O23 - Service: Secunia PSI Agent - Secunia - C:\Program Files\Secunia\PSI\PSIA.exe

O23 - Service: Secunia Update Agent - Secunia - C:\Program Files\Secunia\PSI\sua.exe

Click Start > Run > type services.msc

Try disabling the above services and reboot.
