Im lost

I have a laptop that was donated to me and it is password locked?

i have tried to use my xp cd on it but i get a blue screen saying that the hard drive might be full

is there anyway around this?

everytime i try to boot from disk, i gey blue screen sayin hard drive might be full

When you boot, do you get to Setup? Does it ask if you want to repair your current install or install a new one?

During Setup, you have the option of installing a New instance of XP. Take that option adn choose to Format the disk as part of Setup. There is never a case with Setup, as long as you can see the disk, that a full drive will prevent you from formating. Take the time to read the screens and choose to format.
