    Hi,

My website accepts signups and signins (it is a social networking site) and at the moment everything is sent in the clear.

The signup form is an NMS FormMail script which emails me the signup information to me.

Each user has their own unique signin page.... well, it is a password protected directory.

    ( I know this isn't ideal )

Is it possible to do any of the functions above via SSL? I have found a service offering free SSL certificates, so I was wondering if I could take advantage of this secure connection setup

I am using HelioHost to host my website (it is down at the moment!) which means I am using cpanel. There is some kind of ssl certificate setup wizard in the cpanel.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ethanw
