What is a "Excel image file"?

If you mean a screen shot of the screen displaying a excel file the yes, it can be done but one needs to use an OCR program.

    What Version of M$Office ??
Do you want to attach the image file ??

I'm thinking the Image can be read (OCR) by One Note ...
Then the text organized in Word and pasted to Excel.

It will be some work but saves typing and is subject to OCR Errors.

Do you have M$ One Note ????
Table like structure (Text) is probably not the format to paste into Excel.
I use M$ Word to (replace) and insert tabs for the excel Column Structure.
Can you ... Do you want to .... attach your image ?
