hi, i recently got a new Samsung r700 laptop, with a built in webcam
yesterday it was working fine on msn, but today it came up with a message saying it was being used elsewhere and to shut that program before using it with msn
same thing when i tried to open samsung's own "Play Camera" program and use it

however...i don't have anything else open
    i tried to usual...turn off/turn back on
tried ctrl-alt-delete then task manager, and looked through the processes to see if anything was there that stood out to me but couldn't find anything that would be using the camera.

so anything else i could try?
using vista by the way, if thats important

any replies would be greatly appreciated

perhaps uninstalling all your camera drivers and then reinstalling them again would help.
