    Win 98, OE4.
For some reason when I clicked 'Reply to Author' in OE to reply to a n/g post some weeks ago, the 'Inbox Setup Wizard' appeared instead of the normal post window with the senders address etc. In attempting to get rid of it, I now have the 'Choose Profile' box for 'Microsoft Outlook' which I don't want either. I don't use Outlook.

Doesn't do this when replying to 'Inbox' posts. Only n/g replies.
Probably caused by something I inadvertently clicked on sometime, but I'd like it operate as per the default installation settings.

Have tried looking in MS's knowledge base for an answer but can't find one.
Seems quite well hidden in 98, so if anyone can tell me how make it work the way it used to, I'd be grateful.

Try re-registering Outlook Express as your default e-mail handler, and see whether that corrects things:

Close OE, click Start/Run and enter this command line, complete with quotes, spaces and the /reg switch:

    "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

Adapt the path, if you've installed OE elsewhere.

    Good luck,
