Due to lack of funds I've reverted to dial-up and am wondering if I can set up my lap top to accept incoming phone calls while I'm online. Using a Velocity Micro, with Windows XP, and I'm NOT the brightest bulb in the package, so any help should be explained as if talking to a 53 year old beginner intermediate type, thanks. stancusso

You modem needs to be V92 compatible with a call waiting feature.
You will need to go into your Modem properties or device manager to find out what model modem you have and if it is V92 compatible.
