not too sure about system ninja; I've heard that it can crater your machine by hosing the registry. I do know for a fact that CCleaner has been known to do that as well; generally any 'registry cleaner' needs to be avoided.

That said, I've never used System Ninja so I can't speak for it. Just repeating what I've head.

I have been guilty in the past of using the crap cleaner registry cleaner, but with no ill effects.

I remember in my newbie days using Norton System Works 2002. I actually had errors from improperly uninstalled apps and I used the registry cleaner and it fixed the problem.

But valis is right. The risks outweigh the possible benefits with registry cleaners and despite my folly years ago I highly recommend against using any registry cleaner.

Thanks for pointing that out in the library sulasno. A good explanation of what CCleaner does and a reasonable explanation posted by Ent on why we at TSG don't recommend registry cleaners...(y) What are System Ninja's specs?

What? Does that mean that System Ninja is the reference to CCEnhancer.exe?
