Was instructed to close and repost to this forum.

Stumbled onto you guys while trying to research this problem.

My system suddenly started running terribly - Slow, intermittent internet connection, and certain downloads look complete but unzipping a file results in unexpected end of file and trying to run an exe that was downloaded tells me that the file is corrupted. I was able though to download and run the Hijack This app you recommend.

I've run System mechanic and the system seems a bit faster but the other problems persist. I've also run CCleaner (but only the cleaner - no registry stuff).

I've gone into the NVidia drivers and disabled everything but the display drivers (via Add/Remove Software in Control Panel) after reading about similar problems in other threads on the site.

    ------ Additional info -------

I've also discovered that I can't watch videos - youtube, vimeo just sit there.

Downloaded some PDF files though and they were fine.

Local videos play fine. It's just videos over the web that don't play. I can move the slider and see portions of the video but that's pretty unsatisfying.....

Here is my log dump and thanks in advance for any help:
