Incorrect Product Key. Possible fix for it.

I was just wanting to share this.
I'm sure that many people already know this trick.

I was installing Vista Home Premium OEM (Acer notebook).
Using an OEM Installation DVD (no service pack).
When it asked for the product key. It would not accept it.
(something like "the key is incorrect")
I continued the installation without putting in a product key.
I then installed SP1, then SP2.
I was then able to enter the product key, and activate over the internet.
