My computer is running extremely slow when it comes to browsers. IE 8 is always crashing and Firefox takes forever to load. Is there anyway I can get my computer to speed up?

Disk clean up, scan for viruses/spyware/malware, Disk defragment.
CCleaner isn't too bad, you should try it. May help you save a lot of space if you've nevered tried anything like it.
    Endless going list.

System brand or hardware? Age of unit? If you run ccleaner, be certain to turn off reg settings in it or you will be reformatting Windows.

You said your computer is running slow when it comes to using browsers, but you didn't say if it always runs slow.

I'm trying to determine if it has a "slow loading" browser problem or if it has a performance problem.

    What are the computer specs?

Brand name, model name, model number

    Type and speed of processor

    Amount of RAM

Size of hard drive and amount of free space
