incredimail problems

    i upgraded incredimail and it wouldn't run so i tried to install the version i bought and it says the version i have is newer and won't install. i have uninstalled and cleaned the registry and deleted all the files and still gets the same thing. can someone help please
    running windows xp home addition

    Did you delete the Incredimail "bin" and "data" files? These have to be deleted manually, I had to do that one time.

    Also, if you bought a version this means you now have Incredimail Premium, so did you try to contact their customer service? I've had to email the customer service twice in the couple of years that I have had it, and they have gotten back to me in about two days, and were very, very helpful.

    thanks for your time and consideration but i did get it deleted completely and able to install the older version. i got the free version of regclean and found all the entries that pertained to this program... and that didn't work and i did a search and what i found is the prefetch files had a link in it for incredimail and once i deleted it everything worked fine. but again i do thank you for your time and help :) so this thread is solved :) :D :eek: (y)
