I have a problem with clients sending me files created in Indesign: saved/exported as pdf files. I am using CorelDRAW and cannot import these type of pdf files. Although CorelDRAW can import just about any other pdf files, it cannot import Indesign ones. I've asked if they can save/export them as eps, ai, wmf. ps, or any other vector formats, but the clients tell me they cannot.

I can open these files in Photoshop, but this removes all vectors: changing them into a rasterized image (bitmatps), which is useless for what we require. So far, we have to recreate everything at an added charge.

Does anyone know Indesign well enough so as to tell me if there is any other way to resolve this? ("Indesign" customer support were unable to help.)

    Thanks.
