I voted NO because I have Windows 2005 and Office 2005, those were not a choice. :p

    Thank you Candy! :D

It's weird how after I voted, I saw that the first three choices all have 9.06%, but the last has 90%. How does that work?

Because the 'real' votes are now being tallied :D I think since Ram-Page voted for all of his options that is the way the calculations work. He's really on 9.09% :) But I can change that too

Yup, since the poll allowed each person to vote for more than one choice, it will show a total of more than 100% -- that's by design. I don't think I need to echo any other thoughts here. ;)

    Total nonsense.

'95 is on its way out. Ran on slow drives with slow processors and minimum RAM.

'98 is nothing at all like ME, when System Restore, PCHealth and so on came in. '98 ran on PIIs 64-128Mb of RAM and slow drives of 10Gb in general use.

NT is nowhere like 2000, neither of which have System Restore.

XP is a new breed of OS and XP Professional is totally different to XP Home.

XP Professional will support dual processors, file encryption, multiple RAID drives, and so on.

These new computers run with FAST P4's, or Dual Processors, FAST drives, higher bus speeds, faster RAM and anywhere up to 4·0Gb of RAM.

Just a minute! One person gets 37·5%

    14 people get 87·5 ÷ 14 = 6·25%

So I still have 31·25% more than any of you. :D

    Is this proportional representation?

Don't ask a Liberal, or you'll wait a lifetime to get a definitive answer. :D

    Nope! 100% ÷ 11997 = 0·0083%

Obviously these people's expressed - opinion - is unworthy, where the advancement of computing technology in assuring global peace is concerned, so we will just ignore them, and hope that they go away.

    :)

I am now going to start up my Mack truck and come after that hedgehog! :D
