I realise you're going to see this as a TL;DR and ignore it but I'd really appreciate your help so sorry.
To start I'm going to be totally honest, I am completely techy illiterate, if you could it would be great if you'd break everything down into simple steps :)
So my problem is to do with making movies
I have a couple of videos I've made and uploaded to my laptop and I really want to edit them in a more personal way.
What I want to be able to do is to put pictures and text over the movie, in a way that you can still see the movie running behind.
If it helps one of the videos i want to edit is a clip of my dog running across a field, and to it i want to add doodley/cartoon style pictures like a sun in the top corner and flowers down the bottom, i don't want these images to move, just to sit there looking pretty throughout.
Once again I'm sorry it's so long, and I'm sorry if I'm not entirely clear with what I want, but thank you so much for your help :) xx
