I have just set up my Panasonic Digital Video Camcorder (model PV-GS300) to use as a webcam. This model uses MSN Messenger 7.0/7.5 to connect. When I try to activate 7.5 it tells me that I cannot proceed - I must upgrade to Windows Live Messenger. I have done this, and successfully connected with my daughter - with one exception. Windows Live Messenger will not recognize my panasonic camera or allow me to adjust the audio or video settings. I cannot get it to connect to the microphone in the camera. Panasonic tech support sayd that there is nothing that I can do about it. I can't find any answers on the Microsoft site. Does anyone out there know how I can breach this problem?
