How can I install a ATI Radeon 7500 along with onboard Intel video card - I had the solution to this last year - I think I might have to cut off my arm or a leg, according ATI/AMD support.

Anyhoo, here's what I'ver tried so far:

    1. change bios video primary control to AGP - before install - didnt work
    2. change bios video primary control to PCI - before install - didnt work
    3. disable onboard video card (Intel) during ATI install - failed
    4. changed onboard video card driver to anything - failed

I'm currently running Windows Update - not loading SP3

I doubt you would ever get onboard AND a video card to work. There are a few boards made now that will allow that combo with a very few video cards however nothing that old.

The 7500 is about 6yr old tech. You can buy a cheap card today that is going to get you a lot better performance.

It was working before I formatted the hard drive and reloaded the OS.

Have you installed the same drivers?
What exactly are you trying to accomplish; ie performance or what?

You have not answered; have you installed the same drivers as you had before?

If you just want dual monitors, you can connect them to any modern card that supports dual monitors.
