Im running windows ME on a 633 etower. Whenever i try to install a program, a blue screen comes up before it is finished. The blue screen reads unable to write to drive C:\. The last thing hardware i put on my system was a CD rom drive. Please help, thanks.

Make sure the CDROM is jumpered on the back of the drive as Secondary Master; the plug farthest from the mainboard on channel 2, and seated properly. If a CD audio auto-plays with sound that's a good sign.
