install windows 7

I have xp professional installed on c drive. I want to dual boot windows 7. Tell me, if its possible, how to directly install windows 7 in e drive by clicking on setup.exe .

1. You need a separate partition or hard drive to install W7

2. Once you have the needed partition or hard drive, boot from the W7 DVD and install it, be sure to select the new partition or hard drive for installation, you don't want to install W7 on your XP partition.

During the setup process you will be given the choice to "upgrade" or do a "custom" install. Choose the "custom" install and then choose the partition you have created for W7. After installation you will be greeted with a black screen that will ask you to choose which operating system you want to start after booting the computer. Youi will have 30 seconds to choose brefore the default system starts.
