    hi everyone,

i have pay new 512mb memory (DDR PC2100) in my motherboard with 128mb memory (already there) up to 640mb.

i wonder if i pay other new 512mb memory (DDR PC2100) and put in my motherboard up to 1024, but im worried if i take 128mb off to replace new 512mb put in my motherboard may lost memory or not?

im grateful if anyone help me.

Removing memory sticks has no effect on the PC, just make sure the power is off and you have no static to discharge
