I'm installing a new WiFi card to my HP Notebook 15.6 the Wi-Fi card is a Dual Band Wi-Fi card with Bluetooth I just wanted to know what I need two antennas for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth or Lenny three antennas because it's dual band for 2G, 5G, and Bluetooth? I always keep my laptop up-to-date running the latest version of Windows

Look at your newly installed Wi-Fi card and see how many antenna connectors it has: If it has two connectors, use two antennas; If it has three connectors, preferably you'd want three but two antennas will work too if your laptop only came with two.

It doesn't matter if it's dual band or Bluetooth capable. It'll work with a single antenna, though reception will be poor, that's for sure.

Some HP laptops have a 'whitelist' which only allows approved wireless cards to work, other cards stop the laptop booting up. Let us know if that happens.
