installing motherboard?

hi all

I am thinking of buying a new motherboard wonder if anyone can give us a clue as to how big this job is and what potential problems could arise


i have done all the other upgrades myself such as memory & plug and play stuff i am no techy

also if i can buy a motherboard it will save me a few quid :D :D
rather than buying a new pc

need to know:
