Hello,

When I try to install Office 2007 for Vista, I get the following error message: " Autorun.EXE - Application Error: The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000018). Click OK to terminate the application"

Can anyone please help me figure out what is going on?

Thanks,

jdjh

I know of NO Office 2007 FOR Vista, as Office can be installed on any machine running CX SP2 or better. I think you mean "Office 2007 ON a Vista machine.

Is this a new machine, if so is there a "Trial" version all ready on the machine?

You are absolutely correct. I meant "Office 2007 ON a Vista machine. But the trial version I have is for Office Home & Student. Which I have deleted. Because I want to install Office 2007 Professional.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the 0x0000018 error.

Thanks,

jdjh
