Installing sound card driver...???

How do i install a sound card driver? i found teh one i need, downloaded it, opened the file, and theres no setup icon....Do i just have to sace it to a ceratin place???

the driver is: Avance AC97 VXD Driver

not sure what kind of card, but heres info:

Motherboard Name ECS P4S5MG/GL+
Motherboard Chipset SiS 650

Multimedia
Audio Adapter SiS 7012 Audio Device

Your motherboard has onboard sound. It is not a seperate pci card.
Go into Control Panel, Device Manager and double click on the sound device. You can then select re-install driver then direct it to the folder where you have the driver file saved. Select the folder that matches your operating system.

Forgot to mention - The motherboard is supplied with a cdrom that will install the drivers.
