Hi... has anyone here ever had a problem installing TWEAK UI. It seems like it behaves a little bit differently than most things that I have downloaded.

Even in their instructions.... they tell you to create a temporary file on your desktop and after downloading... and then unzipping... which gave me problems...... finding a file TWEAKUI inf. or something to that effect.

Anyway... after following their instructions step by step.... I couldn't even find the file that they said would install it... I believe it was TweakUI inf. or something like that.

Has anyone here noticed anything a little different or tricky about installing this program....or can someone offer some kind of suggestion?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hi Dave,

Installation is indeed a little different from usual:

    1) Download TweakUI
    2) Doubleclick TweakUI.exe.
    3) Four Files are unpacked to a folder you specify.
    4) Find the file TweakUI.inf, and RIGHTclick it.
    5) Choose 'install' from the context menu.

Subsequently you'll find TweakUI in Control Panel.

    Good luck,

If your using winzip just put the file in a folder on your desktop, right click, choose extract and extract it to the folder.

There should be four files in the folder when unzipped

    tweakui.cnt
    tweakui.cpl
    tweakui.hlp

    and

    tweakui.inf

select the tweakui.inf, right click, and select install. When done you should have the tweakui icon in control panel.
