I have recently purchased an old laptop running windows 95 and I want to know if there is any way I can upgrade this to 98 or ME.
The problem is that I have 98se on cd rom but the laptop doesn't have a cd rom drive.
I also have lotus smartsuite on cd which I want to use on my laptop.
Is my only option to go out and buy a new drive for the laptop or is there some way I can install windows by connecting to my desktop PC?

    Hi smith.g, welcome to TSG....

Depending on how slow your old laptop is (processor speed) and the amount of ram and hard drive space you have, 98 may not even be an option......can you give us some more specifics?

    Hi AcaCandy.
The laptop is a Intel P120, with 64mb RAM and a 1.6Gb hard drive.
Hope this is of some use to you.
