Installing windows

I have a laptop that has the operating system Ubuntu on it and i have no idea how ubuntu works could you give me steps to installing windows ?
Steps to install from a CD and a USB would be great help?

What's the make & model of the laptop? Have you purchased a Windows license to install on it?

If you turn the laptop over, does it give a model number or a serial number on the bottom? Again, did you purchase a license?

Generally you would put the CD/DVD media and make the BIOS boot from the media drive first. Same with the USB drive. Having said that, I suspect the machine is too old for Windows 10 (without knowing the make/model/serial) so Windows 7 may be the only one you can do.

Once you have loaded the setup, just go through the prompts.

Truthfully, Ubuntu is safer because it is patched; Windows 7 no longer receives patches since January 2020. If you plan to go on the internet, Ubuntu is the OS to keep.
