insufficiant memory

    i have a pentium 2 300 mhz and i wanted to reformat the hard(4gb) drive,but when i got to the "A" prompt from the start up disc and typed format c:/s ,it warned me about losing my data and when i clicked y it told me i had insufficiant memory and could not continue.

    Do the format without the System switch.
    If you then want to transfer the sustem files here is the command
    Sys C:
