My system came with an integrated video card. (I am useing XP. ) I have 512 megs of ram but the computer holds 64 of it aside for the video. I recently installed a 64 meg video card on the PCI bus and disabled the integrated video card in the hardware device manager. The computer is still holding the 64 megs of ram aside for the integrated video card even though it is disabled.

How can I reclaim those 64 megabytes of ram which are going to waste?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I went into the BIOS but the terminology for the integrated video ram setting on my pc was a bit different than what you mentioned. All the same I found a setting for the onboard video. While it did not let me turn it off completely, I was able to limit it to 8 megs which gives me another 56 megs to play with. :) Thanks, Rick..................
